The Beyond the Statehouse 7th Annual Advocacy Summit will be an afternoon of education, connection and celebration! The New Hampshire Senate Finance Committee will hold two public hearings in May. Please consider attending one or more and testifying in support of the House-approved funding increase for the New Hampshire State Council on the Arts!

House approves increase to Arts Council budget – on to the Senate!

On April 11, the NH House of Representatives passed its version of the state’s FY20-21 budget, which includes the $282,000 increase to the Arts Council budget originally proposed by Governor Sununu.

Action now shifts to the New Hampshire Senate. The Department of Natural and Cultural Resources (of which the Arts Council is a division) will present to the Senate Finance Committee on Friday, April 19.
